New Television Drama ‘Mother’s Day’ set to air on 22nd April 2016

We are set to release a new online Drama this week. The TV Drama is titled ‘Mother’s Day’, and will be centred on a young man, Alan Woods, played by Andrew Norris, whose mother has sadly passed away. The programme carries on from his mother’s funeral, showing how Alan is coping with his grief at such a sad, emotional time in his life.

Andrew will also be acting alongside two other Birmingham City University Acting students, Chloe Collins and Henry Whittaker. Chloe plays Anna Lawdry who was Alan’s mum’s career at an elderly care home. She goes to Alan's house later that night to comfort him and to give him an envelope from his mother. Henry plays a brief part at the beginning as the Vicar, he also comforts Alan after the funeral service.

Director Edmund Heng says “Mother's Day was a great project to work on, we had a good script, great cast and an amazing crew. I am so excited that it will be shown soon and I hope everyone enjoys watching it, as much as we enjoyed making it".
